Privacy Policy.

The short version

This is a personal professional site. The only personal information it asks for is what you choose to send me through the contact form or by email — and I use that for exactly one thing: reading your message and replying to it. The site sets no tracking cookies of its own, and I don't sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.

What the contact form collects

If you use the form on the contact page, you provide:

• your name;
• your email address;
• the reason for your inquiry (speaking, advisory, or something else);
• the message you write.

None of these fields are collected anywhere else on the site, and nothing is collected silently in the background.

How your message is used

Your details are used to read your inquiry, reply to you, and continue the conversation you started — nothing more. You will not be added to a mailing list, and your information is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own purposes.

How the form is delivered

The contact form is delivered by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a third-party form-forwarding service. When you press send, your submission passes through FormSubmit's servers on its way to my inbox at hello@tareksharara.com. FormSubmit processes the submission in order to deliver it and handles that data under its own privacy practices, which you can review at formsubmit.co.

Cookies and advertising

This site does not set analytics or tracking cookies of its own. If you arrived here by clicking an advertisement, the advertising platform that showed you the ad (for example, a search or social network) may use its own cookies or identifiers under its own policies — those are controlled by the platform, not by this site, and your choices about them are managed through that platform.

How long messages are kept

I keep correspondence for as long as it's needed to handle and follow up on the conversation, and then delete it when it no longer serves a purpose. Ordinary email retention applies — your message lives in my inbox like any other email until it's deleted.

Your choices

You can ask me at any time to tell you what information I hold from your correspondence, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@tareksharara.com and I'll take care of it.

Changes to this policy

If the way this site handles information changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised. The current version always lives at tareksharara.com/privacy.html.
